Push ups are an effective and inexpensive way of building up your chest, shoulders and the back of your arms. Resistance training is excellent when it comes to losing weight as you will continue to burn calories even after you have left the gym or in this case after you have finished doing your push ups. On top of that muscles burn calories even when resting so the more muscle you have the higher your metabolism will be!
